Light Table &
Mirror Play
An extra layer of wonder: the light table invites children to investigate color, shape, transparency, and design as materials glow from beneath. When combined with mirrors, children can observe symmetry, patterns, and reflections from new perspectives.
Provocations with Natural Elements
Inviting children to explore & create using materials such as stones, leaves, sticks, and wood. These thoughtfully arranged invitations spark curiosity, while encouraging open-ended investigation and a deeper connection to the natural world.
Sensory Kitchen
Incorporating food items that our students might find in their own pantry; making that connection from home to school. All while creating a unique, sensory experience that enhances fine motor skills - through scooping, pouring, lacing, kneading, etc.
Invitations to Play
Each classroom center is set up as an invitation; thoughtfully designed with a goal of welcoming children to explore. These carefully arranged materials allow our students to follow their own ideas & interests, as they are encouraged to make new creations!
