Process vs. Product Art
Our educators strive to find more value in the process rather than the final product. This method helps our students to fully experience the joy, wonder, creativity, & curiosity that comes with child-led art!

Process art is all about exploration & self-expression; as children are given materials and the freedom to use them in their own way. There are no step-by-step instructions or “right” outcomes. The goal is for children to experiment, make choices, and enjoy the creative process.

In contrast, "product" art focuses on the end result; projects that look the same for every child, often with teacher-directed steps. At Hope Preschool, we believe "process" art supports critical thinking, decision-making, confidence, and independence...which are exactly the skills our students need to be successful!
